Boarding Communication:
Fast Facts

Cat Feeding

Thank you for choosing Felines First Veterinary Hospital to care for your (family member, friend, little furball of joy and destruction) cat while you are away! Here are some fast communication facts to keep at hand:

Our open for business hours at this location are:

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm.

These are the hours in which we are fully staffed, accepting phone calls, and seeing appointments and other scheduled procedures at this office. While our "open for business hours" stop after Thursday for the week, there are still kennel staff here caring for our boarders Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. There are no staff members here overnight.

You can call at any time for an update on your cat at 252-772-1020 during the above stated business hours. If you wish to call on Friday (7:30 am - 5:30 pm), Saturday (9:00 am - 5:00 pm), or Sunday (10:00 am - 3:00 pm) you may still do so by calling our sister facility, Craven Animal Hospital at 252-637-4541. Our boarding team works in both locations, which are connected by our workstations and phone systems, so the receptionists at Craven Animal Hospital are more than happy to put you in touch with a member.

If a different form of communication will work best for you, you may email the team directly at ffvhboarding@gmail.com. The email is checked at minimum twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening).

In order to streamline arrivals and departures, pick-up and drop-off hours on days we are closed for business at our feline boarding facility are:

Friday and Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am     Sunday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
            3:00 pm - 4:00 pm               2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

For arrivals during these hours you will need to check in at Craven Animal Hospital. This is to ensure that all paperwork is present and forms are signed. We prepare all scheduled boarders' paperwork here at FFV for the weekend and deliver them to Craven Animal Hospital so as to minimize your wait time. A receptionist will present your paperwork for you to fill and check it over for any other information or forms we may need. After that they will  send you to our facility, along with your paperwork, to meet the kennel attendant on duty to discuss feeding needs or any other personalized information you want to impart.

For pick-ups during these hours we do recommend pre-payment to assure the quickest process (Call us by end of day Thursday to do so) but, it is not required . You have options! You may call Craven Animal Hospital to check out by phone during their business hours before or upon your arrival to collect your kitty or, we welcome you into Craven Animal Hospital to handle billing prior to pick-up.

Please reach out if you have any questions. Again, thank you for entrusting us with your feline friends!
