Boarding Communication
We know you'll miss them.
Thank you for choosing Felines First to care for your cat (family member, friend, little fur ball of joy and destruction) while you are away! Here are some important communication details to keep in mind:
Business Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
During these hours, we are fully staffed, accepting phone calls, and seeing appointments and other scheduled procedures. Although our business hours end on Thursday, kennel staff will continue to care for our boarders on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Please note that no staff members are present overnight.

​You may call Craven Animal Hospital at 252-637-4541 on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday during the below hours. The receptionists there will be happy to transfer you to an available kennel staff member. (except on days when Craven Animal Hospital is closed)
Friday: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Hours (when we are closed for business):

Friday and Saturday: 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 3:00 - 4:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am - 11:00 am and 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Arrival Procedures: During these hours, please check in at Craven Animal Hospital, unless you have been instructed otherwise, to ensure all paperwork is completed and signed. We prepare all scheduled boarders' paperwork in advance to minimize your wait time. A receptionist will provide the necessary forms, and after completion, you will be directed to our facility to meet the kennel attendant on duty.
Pick-Up Procedures: We offer pre-payment for a quicker pick-up process. You can call us by the end of the day on Thursday to arrange this. Alternatively, you may call Craven Animal Hospital during their business hours to check out by phone before or upon arrival. You are also welcome to handle billing in person at Craven Animal Hospital prior to pick-up.
